Submissions are for Uncanny Journal #01 Sin

Entirely unexpectedly, we are printing a journal in 2027, and we’d love for you to be a contributor. There’s no formal prompt, but assume we’re playing with “sin” in all of its many flavors. Depending on how many folks contribute, this could be a zine I print at home or a really nice little book. It’s honestly all up to you at this point.

I’m kind of light on the details, since I was only notified of this moments ago, but it’ll be cool. Just look at that cover! Feel free to leave us your email or you can check back here for more details. I’m going to say that submissions close March 1st and I’m making it Winter only, but I might change my mind.

Real quick guidelines:

  1. We don’t have real guidlines

  2. Poetry and short fiction are what we’re thinking

  3. “Sin” is the theme, but fire away

  4. We are ALWAYS open to discuss other ideas. That’s the point of UO

  5. We might say “no” but it’s not personal. We pay for all this stuff, so if it’s not our thing, you understand.

  6. We’ll take email, Signal, snail mail, telegram, whatever.

  7. These are all totally subject to change.
